So I had a pretty interesting hand at the Pai Gow table this evening.
A pair of 8's.
And four 2's.
Oh, and a 9 of clubs, like that matters.
And, like a dumb ass, my first thought when I saw all those cards was, hot damn, I've got a full house.
Er.... except that four of a kind pays five times better than a full house.
It was a pretty good night... beyond that nice little bonus payout, I actually had a great run of winning hands and some decent low-end hits on the bonus. Walked away from the table with a few black chips, which is always nice (and sadly, very unusual!)
What a game.
